GB Favor Post Dr. Francis Beckwith

On Tuesday, March 10, the members of the Great Books Honors Program received the opportunity to listen to Dr. Francis Beckwith from Baylor University speak on Thomas Aquinas (whom he liked very much). Being able to listen to Dr. Beckwith was an especially unique opportunity for the members of the Great Books Honors Program because we have already read some of Aquinas' work. Having read Aquinas gave us a unique perspective and a better ability to understand the material that was being discussed. Dr. Beckwith is the author of several books, including his most recent book, Never Doubt Thomas: The Catholic Aquinas as Evangelical and Protestant and he is known nationally as a scholar.
